FAQ

This study is for adults ages 18 to 80 with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. A research coordinator will review your diagnosis, medical records, symptoms, and screening results with you.

Before starting vedolizumab, participants must have had an inadequate response, loss of response, or intolerance to at least one qualifying treatment, such as corticosteroids, an immunomodulator, or an advanced therapy. The study team will review the specific treatment requirements with you.

The protocol excludes people who have previously received vedolizumab (Entyvio) or another approved or investigational anti-integrin antibody. If you are unsure which medicines you have taken, a coordinator can review your medication history.

Do not stop or change any prescription medication on your own. The research team will review your medications and explain what is and is not permitted before you make any decision about participating.

Qualified participants may receive up to $150 for each completed study visit. A coordinator will explain the payment schedule before you decide whether to participate.
